Indian butter chicken

Indian today. Curry does not come to this dish, it's one. Today we cook it with ingredients that everyone can buy without difficulty.

  • 800 g Chicken breast
  • 6 EL Butter
  • 250 ml yoghurt Greek
  • 1 onion big
  • 2 Jalapenos chopped
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 TL Kurkuma
  • 2 TL Garam Masala
  • 1 TL Cumin cumin
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 clove of garlic chopped
  • 1 EL ginger freshly grated
  • 1 TL Paprika
  • 6 Tomatoes diced
  • 100 g Cream
  • 1 Bunch of coriander
  • Salt pepper


  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala, cumin and diced chicken breast and at least 15 Minutes marinate.

  2. In a large roasting pan or skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and fry the meat (if necessary in several batches). It should be fried golden all around. Remove meat from the roasting pan and set aside.

  3. Reduce the heat a little and turn off 2 tablespoon of butter. Now the jalapenos, onions and cinnamon stick are about 68 Minutes roast meat.

  4. Add the minced garlic, the remainder of garam masala, paprika and grated ginger and fry it until it smells fine. That takes about 1 minute.

  5. Now add the chopped tomatoes to the mixture and bring to a boil. Add the chicken and cook until the chicken is done.

  6. Finally, stir in the cream and remaining butter. Season with salt and pepper. Finished.
